Avoid Eyes and Ears.

If you get a drop of oil in your eye, don't use water. Put a carrier oil around the eye. You can put oils around the eyes and ears, but not in them.

DILUTE IF NEEDED.

If an oils feels uncomfortably warm on the skin, dilute it with a carrier oil. A carrier oil is a fatty oil like olive oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil or Young Living V-6 oil.

use citrus oils safely.

When adding citrus oils to drinking water, use glass, stainless steel, or ceramic. Do not use plastic. Citrus oils can make skin photosensitive, if you are going to be in the sun, be sure to apply the oils only where the sun don't shine.
